The new factory will, among other things, have a fixed production line for straight kerbs in addition to a robot cell, which uses an ABB IRB 7600 Industrial Robot, for wiresaving curved kerbs.
Traditionally, these products are shipped by boat from suppliers in Asia, but now Borsheim AS will be able to offer locally produced stone products of Norwegian quality. The plant will be installed in the late summer of 2023.
