Borsheim contributed local stone to Plogen activity park in Klepp, which is now a popular meeting point for J\u00e6ren<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plogen Activity Park has quickly become a popular area for young and old. With large playground equipment, climbing nets and fountains, the park is proof that innovative solutions can create attractive public spaces. Slightly less visible, but just as important to the park's integrity and durability, are the rock solid stone products from Borsheim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a local supplier of local stone, we are naturally proud to have contributed to such an important project in our own neighbourhood. A large part of the park is designed with street stones, slabs and steps, delivered directly from Borsheim's quarry in Hellvik. Bjelland has done a great job of laying the stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than just a park: A meeting point for everyone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plogen activity park is designed to be a place where people meet across age and interests. The park has a number of dedicated zones, each with its own specific purpose. For the active, there's a large roller rink for roller skates and skateboards, and an impressive climbing frame that challenges both children and adults. Several of these areas are built with\u00a0slopes and kerbs<\/strong>\u00a0from Borsheim, which ensures a stable and durable surface that can withstand heavy loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Large cobblestones creates charming walkways and squares that link the different zones together and give the park a robust and natural look. This stone is not only part of a practical surface; it also contributes to the expression of the park and creates a solid foundation that will last for generations. So next time you're at the park, remember to watch your step on the stunning stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The choice of street stones, slabs and stair treads from Borsheim was a conscious commitment to both quality and sustainability. Large cobblestones is known for its durability and ability to withstand heavy use and harsh cold weather. By choosing a local manufacturer, Klepp Municipality significantly reduced its transport costs and environmental footprint.
